Family Fun! Now With More Poontang

It's nice to have free weekends now that the househunting is over. Today we walked the girls to the Family Fun Fest put on by one of the local public elementaries. Nutmeg was having a ball on a big inflatable slide and in the jumphouse for awhile, and then we walked over to check out the games. The game area had a boom box playing. You know, for fun family atmosphere.

The song sounded familiar. Kinda, freshman year of college familiar. Then I heard the lyrics:

"You down with OPP?"

Yeah, you know me, ya K through 8th graders!

Isn't that song about really bad kids having their eyes on other people's papers?

If you have finally deciphered for me what OPP stands for (other people's papers) I'm officially crowning you the queen of cool.

You down with OPP? Yeah you know me!

For those who might not know, the rest of the lyrics kinda explain it. It's dirty!

Apparently, if you screech Roxanne...then the H-man will follow with "You don't have to put on the red light..."
We think it is hilarious. Once he understands what it means...not so much...but for now...we're singing a lot of Sting (and wondering what they're doing in circle time at school!)
